John Galliano Talks Greasy at a Club and Gets Suspended From Dior!

February 25, 2011

Where is Elton when someone really needs some tough love? Designer John Galliano whose designs are often more hot mess than haute couture has gotten himself suspended from the House of Dior. Despite refusing to carry cosmetics for a diverse range of skin tones or send diverse models down the runway for its shows, Dior, the fussy, powdery, bitchy old lady of a design house seems to have a “zero tolerance” when it comes to their designers talking greasy about minorities:

The House of Dior declares with the greatest firmness its policy of zero tolerance with regard to any anti-Semitic or racist statement or attitude,” Dior boss Sidney Toledano said in a statement, reports the Associated Press. “Pending the outcome of the [police] enquiry, Christian Dior has suspended John Galliano from all duties.

Allegedly, Galliano got into a verbal scrap with a woman at Parisian cafe. While nobody’s reporting exactly what Galliano said to get himself both arrested and given Le Boot from his employer, sources have suggested it was quite ugly. Though word on the street is seems like Galliano took his cues from Charlie Sheen.

I’m guessing Galliano’s defense is going to be:

1) A funny reaction to flu medication
2) Charlie Sheen, dressed as Galliano made those statements
3) Those blankety blank blankers had it blanking coming.

Speaking of things that happened ten years ago, I think that’s the last time he was remotely relevant. I wonder if he’ll be able to top Sugar Tits.

I would note that the French take antisemitism extremely seriously; you can get slapped with a six month sentence for making antisemitic remarks. He was also pretty intoxicated at the time.
