I Wonder What Pair of Plastic Shoes Kenneth Cole’s Gonna Wear to Outrun This Controversy!

No. Absolutely not. Of course, no. Everyday, I wonder why these smug companies don’t seek out the fabulous services of individuals like Barry and myself to prevent them from engaging in these ill conceived acts of fuckery. I already am about tired of overpriced and hopelessly out of style Kenneth Cole items clustercussing prime purse real estate at TJ MAXX. And honestly, I haven’t purchased a KC item in earnest since 1995! This ain’t the way to bring sometimey fans like myself back into the fold.

And, of course, there is a fake account parodying the gaffe to an uncomfortable degree.

I disturbingly saw this because someone had retweeted it. I unfollowed them.

On the day of the Tucson shooting, within the first couple hours before we even knew what had happened, some online pub used the ‘current events’ in a tweet to promote a story on men and violence. They eventually understood why that was inappropriate and apologized, but I just can’t believe I had to call them out on it at all.

What a bunch of thoughtless chuckleheads.

I miss the days when there were only a few dozen witnesses when someone played the fool by emailing their entire address book.
