The RHoA Recap: Season 3, Ep. 16 “The Bride and the Doom” – FINALE

January 31, 2011

Lawrence prepares to debut the song Closet Freak and all the ladies show up (except Cynthia). “I see something in Miss Lawrence that I think everybody needs to see.”  The smoke machine comes on.  “Lawrence and Kim are two totally different artists.”  Cynthia has two days until the wedding and forgot about the bridesmaids’ dresses. “I never imagined myself broke, much less broke and planning a wedding.”  Mallory and her mother discuss if it’s still a good idea.  Phaedra gets dressed for returning to work.  “I was surprised how emotional I got leaving Ayden for the first time.” Kim visits Kandi in the studio to discuss business. “I know you’re supposed to give your friends discounts, but damn.”   Sheree auditions for the movie ‘If These Hips Could Talk’.  “I didn’t know I was going to have an audience.” The producer isn’t feeling it. “I gave the audition I wanted to give.”  Brice gets instructions from NeNe. “I’m on my way.” Team wedding eats breakfast. “You really picked up the drinking.” Mallory questions if she wants to follow through and the tears begin, so Cynthia takes a walk to the park. “I know that our situation is not perfect.” Mom worries he’s financially abusing her. “Allow him to give.”  Greg pours two glasses of pink wine and asks NeNe to talk. “I failed miserably.” NeNe remains unconvinced. Mallory informs the bride there are no wedding bands. “I think you should stop drinking, Cynthia Bailey.” She has a moment with her daughter, Noelle. “Do you love me more than your iphone?” The dress arrives and everyone approves. Kim is recovering from new boobs. “I wonder what Kroy’s gonna think.” Peter’s mom arrives, and then a sloshed bridegroom slides in. Cocktail hour begins. Cynthia realizes she forgot the license at home. Mom and sister conspire. Kim brings her own wine to the wedding. “Kim is invisible to me.” The wedding begins. “It really doesn’t surprise me that Cynthia was able to pull off this million dollar wedding with fifty cents.” The bridal runway show happens. Dwight makes an offering to NeNe.  Then, epilogue.

Don’t get me started on that! I thought it was a remake. Google is going to derail more than a few lazy mofos.

Also, Closet Freak is the name of Lisa Wu-Hartwell’s clothing line from Season 2. [She By] Sheree showed up to the fashion show, in, like, gym clothes because she was watching one of her kids play the violin or some such?

I forgot about that! Aww, Lisa. One of my favorite lines from the episode with the doctor being exposed at the car party was when NeNe said, “Lisa had drunk a bottle of riesling so she looked like a bobblehead”.
